1387 (2008-09) Space & Broadcast Year for HRC (April 2008)
After finalization HRC 5-years road map , 2 new subjects add to HRC missions: Space and Broadcasting. At HRC news year party, Mohammad Akoochekian (HRC President) said that this Persian year is first stage for serious space projects and great step for HRC broadcasting (News, Media, live webcast,...).
Although HRC is a none government organization and work on space expensive projects is so hard and maybe out of access but HRC will begin the projects by high altitude balloon for solar researches. Akoochekian said that during a 15-years plan HRC will collaborate in designing and making a international solar space telescope. In the broadcasting area, HRC will establish one the greatest program since HRC birth to increase VOS degree around the middle east, Africa and middle Asia. 4-lingual news service (web+radio), live webcast, ETC will develop during this program. Solaris: A Software for your Mobile Phone (March 2007) Hedayatgaran Research Center (HRC) in association with Rahnema IT Co. have designed a simple astronomical software about solar system. Solaris is a simple encyclopedia of solar system. this 277KB software is a first Iranian astronomical software for Mobile Phones and is installed on Nokia, Sony Ericson, Motorola and other symbian support cell phones.
