HRC in 1385
Persian Year
(March 20, 2006 - March 21, 2007) At the end of this Persian year, you can study summary of our projects, researches and trying.
 The HRC Team composed of Dr Mohammad Rafienia, Ehsan Eslahi, Dr Ali Rahimi and Mohammad Akoochekian planed to observe this event in Antalya, Turkey. After some studies and research, they selected a location in Antalya. The length of totality and probability of having a sunny day in Antalya is suitable. The planned site was equipped with internet connection for live webcast and had enough safety. So, observatories and universities were good for that purpose. Finally, between 3 locations, the team selected Akdeniz University in Antalya.

Radio Phoenix(2) is project for solar radio observation with live webcast feature. Before this, Radio Phoenix(1) had been started for meteor radio observation. Radio Phoenix is next step of Phoenix program in radio observation area. Radio Phoenix work in XGHz by 3-Meters Dish.
These stages will be done among 1.5 years. Zanjan University, Isfahan University of Technology and Shiraz University help research center in this project.

Although some technical problem decline the project development speed. The data were analyzed by
different softwares and will be published at observatory website for all of
researchers. All of these processes are remote control. Observers only turn on
the systems. They can leave the observatory and transfer data to HRC office
every time they want.
This project is a start point of
another great project with 5m dish and GHz receiver which will be started just
after this project and will target sun and center of Milky Way.
One the most important option in HRC program is Polarized imaging from Sun corona and analyze them via Sun Processor software (more details). After months, the mathematical-physics algorithm of this option was produced and now, HRC programmers finished software. This will be as a part of Sun Processor software. The algorithm has been tested and worked properly.
The software have been tested by polarized images which have been taken during TSE 2006. Because of HRC strategy to develop the activity area, astronomy managers decided to use some high school clever students to produce some of software codes. Marzieh Pooramrollahi, HRC IT manager, managed them among cooperation. These students were concentrate on mathematics, algorithm, programming, coding and analyze. This team was composed of 4 students from 2 Isfahan high schools. Mina Ekramnia, Sepideh Akhavan and Sonia Amrollahi under management of HRC worked on the software for one month.Their results were used at main project of eclipse in turkey. This had its own risk but its advantages were out of measurement. They developed the software to draw the magnetic field lines via other matrixes which are produced by some another parts of software. Their used algorithm were so short and useful, so HRC programmers used some parts of this codes in Sun Processor software. Then researcher enter real date of TSE 2006 to the software, after some trying and investigation, Sun Processor report its first results. July 30th, Mohammad Akoochekian (HRC President) and Ramin Etemadi (Business Development Manager of Rahnema Co. SMS Services) visited together and agreed for a new astronomical SMS service. Rahnema Co. is one of the greatest producer of SMS carts in Iran. International SMS cart, multi services cart, sms web services and ... are some of company's productions. HRC sms news services are in cooperation with Rahnema Co (More details). Now in this new agreement HRC and Rahnema decided to add new services to Rahnema multi services cart called BEEP CART (More details). This cart is contain of several interactive services:

according to this service, Beep Cart users are able receive that day astronomical events just by sending a small code (AST) via sms to 30002337. (About Beep Cart go to www.beep.ir) After 2 years CCD imaging, image processing and web based programming, The b version of HRC Moon Mapping is available. At the first of summer HRC news services started to work only with a simple podcast. This service is composed of astronomy and IT are published as Voice, text and movie. Iran and world astronomy and IT news, night sky, SMS news and ... are different parts of HRC news and attracted more than 50000 visitors during 6 months. Hedayatgaran Research Center (HRC) in association with Rahnema IT Co. have designed a simple astronomical software about solar system. Solaris is a simple encyclopedia of solar system. this 277KB software is a first Iranian astronomical software for Mobile Phones and is installed on Nokia, Sony Ericson, Motorola and other symbian support cell phones. eLearning is pioneer method to learn every thing at every where and every times. eLearning is developing so fast in Iran but astronomy was far from this development. HRC in associate with Rahnema IT Co. established the first astronomy eLearning course in Iran on March. Fateme Salarvand as manager of HRC eLearning has long road to final success. Read More
Next year projects will be fit into the HRC 5-years strategies: Concentration, IT usage development, international collaboration and academic programs development. Solar researches, eLearning, live webcast, broadcasting, eBiz and their branches were the most important subjects for managers.

Since 2001, every year HRC establish an astronomical paint match for kids around Iran. This year the subject of this national match was "Little Passenger Go to the Space". Isfahan, Tehran, Gilan & Mashhad provinces were hosts of paint match. More than 500 little painters had attended in this party and final 12 children were selected among them. Zahra Shadbash was the winner of match and special prize. Read More about paint match Isfahan astronomy club is one the first and greatest club in Iran. Adib Astronomy Society (AAS) is founder and manager of this great gathering. Since the first month of this year, HRC has established an astronomical match via SMS. At the first of each gathering an astronomical question was asked by HRC president then club guests send their answers via SMS. Winners were introduced at the end of program to receive their prizes.
