HRC In 1380 Persian Year

(March 21, 2001 - March 21, 2002)

 The Learning Collection About Sun Completed  (May, 2001)

• "The Star Called the Sun" is the title of an HTML collection about Sun which written by Mohammad Akoochekian, president of HRC.

  The 3rd Persian School on Sun called Sun School 2001  (July, 2001)

• In July 9-11, 2001 HRC Astronomy Dept. established a school on Sun. Isfahan University of Technology was the host of this school. 

  Dr. Akbar Parvazian , Dr. Zafarollah Kalantary & Mohammad Akoochekian were teachers of this school. After school, its students were examined to get the certification of this school.

 Sky Prince 0127 Completed  (July, 2001)

• When astronomers go to observation in the nights they need tables and properties of stars and other objects. But this is very difficult to find these  information in that time because of dark sky and cold weather. We are designing a micro computer for amateurs to see the properties of objects (Messier, NGC, ...) on its screen by entering the name of the object. We think the price of this system will be about 120$. This instrument is useful for amateurs that have a simple telescope and also for those that want to observe the sky without telescope.

  4th Adib Astronomy Society Exhibition (August, 2001)

• In August 25, 2001 Adib Astronomical Society (AAS)  established the exhibition.

   HRC went there with 4 projects:

  1) Sky & Search (1), the first Persian astronomy software which is for ones who want to learn astronomy .

  2) The Star Called the Sun, the complete collection about sun made by HTML code.

  3) Nuclear Pro., hardware & software to study cosmic radiations.

  4) Sky Prince 0127, the micro computer for astronomers.

 The First Professional Astronomy Academy in Isfahan Started ( September, 2001)

• HRC astronomy dept. established  an academy on astronomy for professional studying. This is the first academy in Iran for professional astronomy.

 Sun Processor Project Started ( September, 2001)

• This is a three years project to design and produce a hardware and software package to analyze the data of Sun. This project will be continue. 

  K1, The First Observatory in Isfahan Started to Research (December, 2001)

• After several visits between presidents of HRC & Shirin-Nam food industrial Co. they wrote an agreement about making an observatory, out of Isfahan. This project called Kowsar-1 or K1. This observatory is designed for sun studying but is able for other astronomy researches like comets studying. 

 HRC Physics . 1 Multimedia Software Completed (February, 2002)

• This is a multimedia learning software for high school students who are educated in grade 1. In this software we have used the helps of a psychologist for design our product.

 HRC Website Started to Work (February, 2002)

• After 2 years we created our new website (www.HRC-net.org). Our older website was in geocities. Now we are here, near you. 

 Comets Computer Collection Started to Creating (March, 2002)

• After success in "The  Star Called the Sun" now the HRC internet group started to design and creat a collection about comets (HTML) which is written by Dr. Mohammad Rafieinia, manager of HRC astronomy department. This is the 3rd HRC learning package on astronomy and 10th HRC scientific software. In this collection there are complete information, more than 100 images and some movies about comets. We think this products will be completed in May, 2002.
