HRC In 1379 Persian Year (March 21, 2000 - March 21, 2001) Sky & Search (1) Completed (June 2000) This software is part (1) of the first Persian astronomical software collection called "Sky & Search" and includes of: 1) Astronomical Coordinates & Observation Principles 2) Astronomical Time Measurement 3) Constellations Specifications 3rd Adib Astronomy Society Exhibition (July 2000) In July 22, 2000 Adib Astronomical Societies (A.A.S.) will set up a gathering for Linear comet in Isfahan, Iran. Some of greet scientists from USA, Europe, etc. will come to Isfahan for this gathering . Dr. Allen Hale is one of them. A group from HRC Astronomy Dept. will attend in this scientific program. An exhibition will also be set up beside this gathering that HRC will attend there with 4 projects: 1) Sky & Search (1), the first Persian astronomy software which is for ones who want to learn astronomy 2) "Andisheh" Network, a local network (web) with astronomy section 3) a Hardware & Software Package to study cosmic radiations 4) Telescope Controlling System (TCS) So Linear comes with busy times for HRC. The First Persian School on Perseid Meteor Shower (August 2000) In August 9,10,11,12, 2000 HRC Astronomy Dept. established a school on Perseid meteor Shower. Isfahan & Falah high school were hosts of this school. Prof. Ajabshirzadeh, Mr. O. Zakarian, Mr. M. Rafieinia & Mr. J. Arshadi were teachers of this school. After school the students of this school went to Hasan-Abad village for data recording of meteor shower. The meteor information analyzed and sent to JAS (www.jas.org.jo) and HRC (www.geocities.com/hrc_test). HRC is the first scientific center in Iran that has set up a school on meteor shower. HRC President was Winner of the Best Prize in I.A.S Gathering (February 2001) Iran Akhtarvash Society (I.A.S) set up a gathering at Feb 14,15, 2001. HRC had 2 lectures in this gathering. At the end of gathering lecture of Mohammad Akoochekian (HRC Pres.) was winner of the best prize of this program. HRC & Shirin-Nam Co. agreement for Kowsar Observatory (March 2001) After several visits between presidents of HRC & Shirin-Nam Food Industrial Co. they wrote an agreement about making an observatory, out of Isfahan. This project that is called Kowsar-1 or K1 will be the most modern amateur observatory in Iran. |
