Children in AstroMatch 2003
Look at these
beautiful and happy faces. They are some of children participated in AstroMatch
2003 established by HRC and Adib
Astronomical Society (AAS) for its 2nd year in May 11, 2003.
In a nice evening, about 50 children and their parents came into
the the
beautiful garden of "Isfahan Child & Youngster Home" beside
Zayandehrood river for a painting match started from 17 o'clock.
The painting subject was sky, space and stars.
The match was hot;
parents helped their children and wanted them
to draw more carefully, this was one of the beautiful times in this
match. An old woman was in saloon and looked at children activities,
she was the grandmother of one of participates and asked some questions from Dr. Rafieinia (Manager of HRC
Astronomy Dept.) about HRC purpose from this
painting match.
At the end of the match,
Miss Mojgan Joharian, the
arbitrator of
match, selected the 6 winners and 1 special winner of AstroMatch
2003, then Mrs. Azmoon, one of the teachers of children center,
introduced the winners.

Their prize was "A
Night in K1 Observatory" and astronomical photos. Mohammad
Akoochekian, Dr. Mohammad Rafieinia, Abolfazli (from AAS) and Mojgan
Joharian awarded the winners' prizes.
Special winner of
AstroMAtch2003 was Amir Mohammad Shirin Poor. He was
Special Guest of HRC Website.
At last, all of
children, teachers and parents received memorial astronomical photos.
We should thank a lot from Miss Mojgan Joharian, a
young miniaturist, because of her helps in AstroMatch 2003.
