Occasion of K1 Observatory Inauguration

In July 20, 2002 HRC and Adib Astronomy Society (AAS) established a program for Children and the young. This program included 3 matches:

• Astronomical Paint

• Speak with Sky

• Astronomical Examination

This match was established in the beautiful garden of "Isfahan Child & Youngster Home" beside Zayandehrood river. The program started on 17 o'clock with about 120 children and their parents which were watching their children and enjoying. The matches was hot but astronomical paint was more hot.

Astronomical paint match was for 3 to 14 years old individuals. Most of the painters were very young, lovely and sweet.

One of the interesting parts of this program for these little painters was big dolls which came into the match saloon and performed funny shows.

Also as you can see in below picture, Mohammad Akoochekian, the HRC president, was among children. He said: This was one of the best times in my life, I enjoyed and remembered my childhood. I hope to repeat this program. Here I saw BEAUTY, GOD and LOVE. These children are our future members, costumers and friends. We should have programs for them. Our time is limited.

At the end of the program in the most excited time for children and their parents waited for results, the winners of matches were selected by arbitrators. 

Result of Astronomical Paint Match:

• Mitra Shokoohi    (Special Prize)

• Reza Mazrooei     (1st Prize)

• Setareh Khabiry   (2nd Prize)

• Mahsa Klooshan   (3rd Prize)

HRC President and Mohammad Rafieinia, the manager of HRC Astronomy Dept. awarded the prizes which were:

• Attending a Night in K1 Observatory

• HRC Persian Astronomical Softwares

• Persian Nougat (Gaz)

• Astronomical Photo

• HRC Astronomical Film
